In this episode, I dive into the captivating world of training and transforming our minds. I’ll share with you what I call the ‘3 World’s’ that we use to experience life: the inner, outer, and somatic worlds. You’ll learn how to create a supportive environment for happiness and success.

I will explore the incredible power of neuroscience and explore how understanding the inner workings of our brains can help us unleash specific neurochemicals that impact our beliefs, emotions, and focus. 

Neuroscience: 

– Applying neuroscience to trigger the release of neurochemicals 

– The brain has three information sources: interception, extra reception, and 

   contextual information

The 3 world’s we live in:

– Examining the inner, outer, and somatic worlds 

     Inner world of memories and concepts

     Outer world of experiences

     Somatic world of what’s going on inside our bodies

– Utilizing psychological tools 

– Actions and habits 

– Designing and planning life to create the desired environment, community,

  and experiences

Inner world:

– Approaches to change thinking patterns effectively

– CBT, reality therapy, logotherapy, NLP 

– Philosophies like stoicism and Zen Buddhism to enter a different frame of 

  Mind

– Behavioral economics to improve decision-making by raising awareness of

   biases

– Positive psychology to study strengths, happiness and teach individuals 

   how to become happier

Mindfulness: 

– Strategy to reduce stress and improve focus 

– Jon Kabit-Zinn’s approach to mindfulness focuses on being non-judgmental

   and staying present

– Ellen Langer’s concept of mindfulness emphasizes questioning assumptions 

   and staying open-minded

– Meditation and hypnosis techniques to train the mind to focus and use

   imagination better.

Somatic world:

– Impact of movement and physical awareness 

– Effective breathing techniques 

– Activities such as yoga, tai chi, Pilates, dance, and martial arts improve one’s 

  emotional experiences

– Effective breathing techniques regulate the nervous system

Outer World:

Influence: 

– Understanding rhetoric, behavioral economics, and influence psychology  to

   change people’s minds

– Tools of neuroscience, behavioral neuroscience, and neuromarketing help

   understand how people think and what influences them

– Mind-changing technologies and NLP
